i was a postdoctoral fellow at the national center of imaging and microscopy research (ncmir, ucsd school of medicine) until 2020. in 2014 i received a phd in neurobiology from the university bordeaux and the university of zurich. i studied biology at the lmu munich and completed my diploma degree at the university of heidelberg.
